thinking about this strange Frankenstorm and hoping we don’t lose power.

wishing everyone could experience the training I received yesterday at Leadership Development. We spoke of adult temper tantrums and mental health and checking into your body and understanding our temperaments and, oh, it was better than therapy. Truly, it was.
hoping that this storm amounts to a whole lot less than the hype gives it credit for.
wearing an old, old infinity scarf. And some weekend favorites. Today, we go nowhere. It’s a comfy, stay at home all day sort of Sunday.
loving that right now little Misha is balancing herself on my thigh. She’s resting her chin on my hand as I type, type, type away. She doesn’t mind. She just wants to be with me. And I love that.
wanting a hurricane day off from work. Can you blame me?
needing to start the laundry before this storm comes and cuts off our electricity.
feeling grateful for my quiet little home with my happy little family and our stocked little kitchen cooked and baked with love. And I’m grateful that our home historically does not lose power during storms. But, now, I must knock on wood.
clicking through Zappos. After this morning’s long run, it’s clear that I must send another pair of Brooks Adrenaline’s to the graveyard.
